Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

The speed is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
