The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently coming. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
